The sword of the Spirit is the word of God. And today, these powerful passages of scripture touched my heart of hearts:
"For I have determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
"Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, according to the gospel.
"That I may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith."
The only way to God the Father is through His Son Jesus Christ.
We are all under the sentence of death; we're all going to die. And we all need to be ready to stand before God.
Jesus came to die on a cross. And on that cross, He bore our sins and shed His blood for each one of us. For we are all sinners. None of us has consistently done what is morally correct. We have all experienced a guilty conscience.
Jesus calls us to repent of our sins and come to Him by faith. Have you opened your heart to Jesus? Have you repented of your sins?
We don’t have long. This very day, our soul could be required of us. And the decision you make today may determine where you’ll spend eternity...
Do you know Christ? Are you ready to meet God face to face?
