The sword of the Spirit is the word of God. And today, these powerful passages of scripture touched my heart of hearts:
"We have believed in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law shall no mortal man be justified.
"That I may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith.
"Because Abraham believed God, it was reckoned unto him as righteousness."
The righteousness bestowed by God through faith in Christ is available to everyone regardless of church or denomination; faith in Christ is a state of mind, a state of the heart, an unwavering belief that can't be persuaded otherwise.
