The sword of the Spirit is the word of God. And today, these powerful passages of scripture touched my heart of hearts:
"But in vain do you worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men. Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men. You nicely set aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition."
"Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and so teaches others, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven."
Pharisaic Judaism put the tradition of men ahead of the commandment of God. Let's not make the same mistake in the Church Age.
The Bible is the authoritative, inspired word of God. Church Tradition does not have parity with the Bible.
The foundation of our faith is Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, according to our gospel.
