The Sword of the Spirit (87)

The sword of the Spirit is the word of God.  And today, these powerful passages of scripture touched my heart of hearts:

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness."

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

"just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him.

"In love, He predestined us to adoption as sons to Himself through Jesus Christ."

I am a proud Christian.  I'm a proud Canadian, but God first.  I'm a proud heterosexual, proud and content with the gender assigned to me at birth.

Justification by faith in Jesus Christ is available to everyone regardless of church or denomination.  Faith in Christ is a state of mind, a state of the heart, an unwavering belief that can't be persuaded otherwise.
