The Fiery Horseman

Behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True; in righteousness He judges and wages war.  His eyes are a flame of fire, and His face is like the shining sun in all its brilliance, and upon His head are many diadems; He has a name written upon Him which no one knows except Himself.  He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word of God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Me, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with Me.  All things came into being through Him; and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among you, and you beheld His glory, glory as of My only begotten, full of grace and truth.  He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become My sons, even to those who believe in His name.

The armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.  From His mouth comes a sharp two-edged sword, so that with it He may smite the nations; He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of My fierce and almighty wrath.  And on His robe and on His thigh he has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.  Be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. For this reason you be ready too; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time?  Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.  Truly I say to you, that he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
