The Sword of the Spirit (78)

The sword of the Spirit is the word of God.  And today, these powerful passages of scripture touched my heart of hearts:

"And you will be hearing of wars and rumours of wars; see to it that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.

But all these things are merely the beginning of the birth pangs."

“And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.”  That is, "the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain".

“Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I will also keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell upon the earth.”

Therefore, let us display the same mindset as the Apostle Paul who "fought the good fight, finished the course, kept the faith".
