The sword of the Spirit is the word of God. And today, these powerful passages of scripture touched my heart of hearts:
"But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
"The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
"For if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
No past is too dark; no sin is too grave! We are called to repent and believe in Christ Jesus and Him crucified. Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, according to the Gospel.
